Japanese Sweets from Hiroshima

"Kawadori Mochi"

A traditional Japanese sweets from Hiroshima.
There is a historical story with the sweets.
When a daimyo feudal lord faced to an enemy forces over a river, some  pebbles come up the surface.
Then the pebbles come into the stirrup of the lord's horse. And he kept to fight with the pebbles. Finally they defeated their opponents. The lord thought that the pebbles brought us a fortune, and took the pebbles and dedicate that to Miyazaki Hachiman-gu Shrine.
Since that, They have compared the rice dumplings to the pebbles, and eat them. 
"Kawadori" means across a river.
The grandson of the feudal lord moved to Hirochima, The customs became popular in Hiroshima.


 A customer gave us the sweets from Hiroshima.
By the way, it's another Hiroshima guest from a guest who gave us "Sake" before.
Many guests comes here from Hiroshima.

"Sake" gift

One of our regular customer gave us a bottle of "Sake" as celebrate for our grand open.

I really appreciate it.

He works at Sake company "SENPUKU" from Hiroshima.
The company's name means ”thousands of happiness”

My work went to a new model change.

I created that work with the image from Japanese entertainment woman("Joroh" Edo period)
Autumn bell flower is in the season now. 
This model is more fascinating before the last model.
"She" might be promoted to a higher status. 

Our favorite Japanese "Izakaya", つじ田／TSUJITA

Have you heard "Izakaya"?
That's Japanese pub or diner.
You can go to drink, eat and have a communication.
Actually, one of our guests told me"That's pretty nice pub around this area".

Yes! It is true!
Certainly tasty and the landlady is really kind and open mind.
She told me,"I love communication and I'd like to make the place where is easy to come for foreigner guests too"

Every Friday night is my best relax hours in TSUJITA.

My recommend Italian restaurant in Ebisu

I went the best Italian restaurant in Tokyo. It's called "BUDOSHU-BO allee" http://gourmet.livedoor.com/restaurant/10540/map/

After I finished my work, I went to there. So it has closed already.
But the landlady is really kind to me, She served me a glass of white whine.
We talk a lot of things about "What is the service to your guests"

She believes one thing during she is management her restaurant.
It is  "In the case when a customer who seems to be not fine comes in her restaurant, She try to makes the one to be cheerful till that one go home.
She said "That's the our work, and no need to do the special something work."
I 've learn something to what do you serve to your guests from her last night.

My lovely kitty!

Actually,he is not kitty. He has become 17years old and more.
We picked up him from an animal protection facility when he might have become  1and half year old still.
He is still fine. Of course he is getting be old and seems a bit senile.
Today, I'm going home to see him after my work finish.
